Transfer a ticket

During checkout you assign each ticket to a person. Once you do, they get a message with a link to their ticket and can claim it, confirming it's theirs (see Assign tickets to people). Assignment is set at checkout — you can't change who a ticket belongs to yourself, whether or not it's been claimed.

Transfer policy is set by the event organizer, and it can differ from one event to the next — some allow transfers, some don't. Transferring a ticket to someone else is an action only the organizer can approve, so to check whether your ticket can be transferred, contact the event organizer (see Contact the organizer).
