Edit or cancel a published event
Updated 2026-06-15
Plans change. Here's how to update, pause, or remove an event after it's live.
Edit the details
Open the event and tap Edit. You can change the cover, name, dates, location, type, and description, then save — your changes apply to the live event right away.
Once an event has sales, some details are protected so you don't pull the rug out from people who already bought. If a field won't change, that's why.
Take it offline
To stop selling and hide the event without deleting it, flip the Publish toggle in the top bar to Unpublish. The event link stops working until you publish again, and members aren't notified — going dark is silent. Republish anytime to bring it back.
Cancel and refund
Cancelling an event that has sold tickets means two things: unpublish it so no one else buys, and refund the buyers who already did. See issue a refund for the refund step.
Delete it
If no tickets have sold, you can Delete the event to remove it completely. Once there are sales, delete is off the table — refund and unpublish instead, so buyers' records stay intact.
Reuse it
Running the same night again? Duplicate an event to copy its setup — tickets and settings — into a fresh date, instead of building from scratch.
