Organize members with groups

Updated 2026-06-15

Groups let you slice your community — for filtering the list, or for acting on a bunch of people at once.

Two kinds of groups

  • Custom groups — ones you make and name yourself (e.g. Aurora Squad, Press). Fully editable.
  • Automatic groups — tiers Vibez assigns by how many events someone's attended (Bronze, Silver, Gold…). These are read-only — you can't change who's in them. (There's also a built-in system group you can't edit.)

Create a custom group

Open Community → Groups and tap Add custom group. Type a name and save. You can add a description and choose whether it's Visible to members. Rename or delete a custom group any time; automatic ones show a lock.

Add members to a group

Two ways:

  • In bulk — on the Members list, filter to the people you want, open Actions, and choose Add to group (or Remove from group).
  • One at a time — open a member and tap Add under their groups, then pick a group. Remove one with the × on its chip.

See who's in a group

From the Groups page, a group shows its member count — open it to jump to the Members list filtered to just that group.

Groups pair naturally with filters: narrow the list to a group, then act on everyone in it — see find & filter members.
