Set up a channel

Updated 2026-07-21

A channel is a tracked link for one source — a newsletter, an Instagram post, a partner. Here's how to set one up.

Create a channel

From Settings → Channels, tap New channel and fill in:

  • Name — how you'll recognize it (e.g. Newsletter · Press, Booth · Tel Aviv).
  • Ambassador (optional) — tie the channel to an ambassador so its sales attribute to them. Pick a teammate or invite by email.
  • Allow cash payments — let operators mark orders on this channel as paid in cash.

On save, Vibez generates a short code (you can't edit it) that rides the link as ?c=….

Turn a channel on or off

Each channel on the list has an active toggle. Flip it off to retire a channel — its link stops attributing and it dims in the list — without deleting its history. Flip it back on any time.

The Main Link

Every project has a Main Link — direct traffic, no code. It's always there and can't be edited; it catches everything that didn't come through a named channel.

Sub-channels

Want to A/B test the same source? Add a sub-channel — it shares the parent's identity and ambassador but tracks its own stats. Create one from a channel's edit screen.

Then what

Share each channel's link (copy or QR) and watch the breakdown per source — see track sales by channel.
