Run early-bird pricing & sales rounds

Updated 2026-06-16

Want the price to climb as the event fills — Early Bird, then Regular, then Last Minute? There's no separate "rounds" feature to set up; you build rounds from one timed ticket per round.

Set up the rounds

  1. Create a ticket for the first round — name it Early Bird, at its lower price.
  2. Set Status to Timed, and give it a Sale starts / Sale ends window.
  3. Create the next ticket — e.g. Regular, at a higher price — with a Sale starts that picks up where Early Bird ends.
  4. Add a final Last Minute round if you like, ending when doors open.

Each round is just its own ticket. When a round's window closes it shows Sale ended — it stays on the event page, just not buyable — and the next round opens automatically.

Tips

  • Name them clearly — buyers see the name, so Early Bird / Regular reads better than "Ticket 1".
  • Price ascending — the early discount is the whole point.
  • Split your stock — give each round its own Stock. When Early Bird sells out it shows as sold out and buyers move to the next round.
  • No gaps or overlaps — line up each round's Sale ends with the next round's Sale starts, so there's always exactly one on sale.
