FAQ

Questions organizers ask before they switch.

Straight answers on moving to Vibez, fees and payouts, refunds, support and your data.

Switching to Vibez

Is it hard to switch to Vibez from another ticketing platform?

No. Create your project on Vibez, set up your next event and start selling. You don't have to move everything at once: past events can finish where they are while your next one runs on Vibez. Organizers moving over from another platform can also get a custom rate priced against their sales history.

Am I locked into a contract with Vibez?

No. Vibez has no contract, no monthly fee and no setup cost. You pay only when you sell a ticket, and you can export your orders, tickets and members whenever you want.

Do my attendees need to download an app?

No. Attendees buy tickets and get in straight from the web. The Vibez app for iOS and Android is there for anyone who wants their tickets, wallet and memberships in one place.

Selling tickets

Can I run promo codes and discounts on Vibez?

Yes. Create a code for a percentage or a fixed amount off a ticket, cap how many times it can be used and set an expiry date. Share it as a code, as a link that applies it automatically, or as a QR code for flyers. You can also give every member of your community a discount automatically, with no code to type.

Can I run early-bird pricing and sales rounds?

Yes. On Vibez each round is its own timed ticket: Early Bird, then Regular, then Last Minute, each with its own price, sale window and stock. When one round ends or sells out, the next opens automatically.

Can I sell secret or hidden tickets?

Yes. Set a ticket's access to Secret on Vibez and it stays off your event page until someone unlocks it with a code or a direct link. Use it for VIP tiers, pre-sales and friends-and-family rates. A code can also hide every other ticket, so someone with a VIP code sees only the VIP tier.

How do I handle peak demand when tickets go on sale?

Spread the rush with the on-sale tools in Vibez. Schedule the sale to open at a set time, run a secret-code pre-sale for members or VIPs first, and sell in rounds that each have their own stock. Set a maximum per order and an order limit per buyer to stop bulk buying. At the door, add scanners for every gate. For large events on an enterprise agreement, the Vibez team plans the on-sale with you.

Can Vibez handle a big on-sale or a festival?

Yes. Vibez runs everything from intimate members' nights to festival-scale on-sales, with fast dynamic-QR entry at the gates. For large events on an enterprise agreement, the Vibez team plans the on-sale and the door with you.

Memberships & community

What is a membership on Vibez?

A membership is how people join your community on Vibez, not just buy a ticket. They apply to join your project, you approve them, and each member gets a profile in your own CRM: who they are, which events they came to and what they've spent. Memberships are included in the 8% fee, at no extra cost.

Can I run members-only events or tickets?

Yes. Set an event to Members-only and only your approved members can buy, so people join to get access. Or keep the event public and add a Members ticket for member pricing or perks. A discount code can also apply automatically to every member, with no code to type.

Do I decide who becomes a member?

Yes. Everyone who asks to join waits for your review: approve, decline or put them on hold, one at a time or in bulk. You choose what they fill in to apply. Name, phone, email and country are always asked, and you can add date of birth, social media, an ID number and your own custom questions.

What do I learn about my members?

Each member's profile on Vibez shows their details, the events they attended, their orders and total spend, and their answers to your questions. Demographics sum up your community's gender, age and countries. Vibez also shows which members bring friends in through their own links, with nothing to set up, and tiers members automatically by how many events they've attended. You can add your own groups on top.

Can I access and export my attendee data?

Yes. Your buyers and members live in your own community and CRM on Vibez, where you can see who they are and message them. You can export orders, tickets and members whenever you want, from any role that has export access.

Fees & payouts

How much does Vibez cost?

One all-in fee of 8% per ticket sold, with payment processing and VAT included. Every feature is included, with no higher tiers. You choose per event whether attendees pay the fee at checkout or you absorb it. Big events, regular calendars, high volume and organizers moving over from another platform get a custom rate.

When do I get my money from ticket sales?

80% of your ticket revenue is available to withdraw when the event starts. The other 20% is held as cover for refunds and unlocks about 10 days after the event ends. You request a payout from the Vibez dashboard to a bank account you've saved.

Can I use my own payment provider?

Yes. Connect Stripe, Nuvei or another processor you already use, keep your own rates and pay a lower Vibez platform fee. The money goes straight into your own account, so payouts, refunds and chargebacks run through your provider, and every sale still shows in one Vibez dashboard.

Can I get paid before tickets go on sale?

Yes, with Vibez Capital. Vibez looks at your track record and the event you're planning, then pays out part of its projected ticket revenue early. Ticket sales settle it automatically, and most organizers hear back with an offer within 48 hours.

Refunds, chargebacks & security

Who handles refunds if my event is cancelled or moved?

You do, straight from the Vibez dashboard. Refund a whole order or part of it, and the money returns to the card or wallet the buyer paid with. To cancel an event, unpublish it so no one else can buy, then refund the buyers. Attendees have their own Vibez help center and support line, so their questions don't all land on you.

What happens if a buyer files a chargeback?

The disputed amount is deducted from that event's balance on Vibez, and Vibez contests the chargeback with the bank using evidence you provide, like the order details and the door-scan record. If the bank rules for you, the money returns to your balance. If it rules for the buyer, the chargeback is yours to cover, including the bank's fees, and if that event's balance can't cover it, it comes from your other events or a payment method on file. On your own payment provider, disputes run through that provider instead.

Does Vibez use 3-D Secure?

Yes. 3-D Secure is the extra step where the buyer confirms a card payment with their own bank, usually in their banking app or with a one-time code. Vibez Payments runs card payments through 3-D Secure, which makes buying with a stolen card much harder. Under card-network rules, liability for fraud chargebacks on a 3-D Secure-authenticated payment generally moves to the card issuer.

How do I lower my chargeback risk on Vibez?

Scan every ticket at the door, so there's a record that the buyer got in. Publish a clear refund policy, and refund quickly when an event is cancelled or moved, since buyers who get their money back don't dispute. Review the orders Vibez holds for you, such as cash orders and unusually large ones, before approving them.

How does Vibez protect me from fraud?

Vibez processes payments to PCI-DSS standards with 3-D Secure and real-time fraud screening. Cash orders and unusually large orders are held for your review before they're confirmed. On Vibez Payments, Vibez also contests chargebacks with the bank for you.

Is Vibez secure?

Yes. Payments are processed to PCI-DSS standards with 3-D Secure and real-time fraud screening. Staff access is role-based, so each teammate sees only what their role allows.

Support & control

How do I reach Vibez support, and how fast do you reply?

Vee, the Vibez AI assistant, answers instantly from the Help Center. For anything about your account or your money, message the Vibez team on WhatsApp or email. We usually reply within a few hours. Enterprise agreements include a dedicated account manager.

Can I approve who gets into my event?

Yes. Make the event Private on Vibez and orders wait for your approval: every order, or only those from people who aren't active members. You approve or decline from your dashboard home.

Can my team use Vibez with their own permissions?

Yes. Invite teammates and give each one a role, from admin to events manager, door staff or view-only, for all your events or only the ones they work on. Access changes the moment you save.
