Manually mark a ticket used

Updated 2026-07-21

Sometimes the door scanner isn't the answer — a guest's phone died, you're letting someone in by hand, or a ticket got scanned by mistake and you need to reverse it. You can do it straight from the dashboard.

Use or un-use a ticket

  1. Open your event and go to Sales → Tickets.
  2. Open the ticket.
  3. Tap the action:
    • Use ticket — check the guest in without a scan.
    • Mark unused — undo a check-in, freeing the ticket to be scanned again.

It's a one-tap toggle — no confirmation step — and you'll see Ticket marked used / Ticket marked unused confirm it.

It counts as a scan

Marking a ticket used by hand records it exactly like a real scan — the ticket's Scan section shows who checked it in and when — so your door numbers stay accurate whether a guest came through the scanner or the dashboard.

Related

  • Scan tickets at the door — the normal way guests check in.
  • Add a scanner — set up the people and gates who scan.
