How can we help? / Getting started

Create your first event

Updated 2026-06-15

Your event is the home for everything — tickets, members, the door, the money. Here's how to create one and get it live.

First, a project. Every event lives under a project — your brand on Vibez. If you haven't set one up yet, do that first: create a project. Then open it and follow the steps below.

Create the event

  1. Inside your project, go to Events and tap Create event (the +).
  2. Cover image — tap to choose a square (1:1) image. It's the first thing buyers see.
  3. Name — what the event is called.
  4. Type — who can get in:
    • Public — anyone can buy.
    • Members-only — only your community members can buy.
    • Private — anyone can place an order, but you approve each one.
  5. Location — the address or venue.
  6. Start and End — pick the dates and times. Your timezone is detected automatically; override it if the event runs somewhere else.
  7. Description (optional) — tell people what to expect.
  8. Tap Create event. You'll land on a confirmation, ready for the next step.

Add tickets

An event isn't sellable until it has at least one ticket. From your event, open the Tickets tab and add one — see Create a ticket.

Publish it live

Creating an event doesn't make it public yet. When you're ready:

  1. Open the event.
  2. Flip the Publish toggle in the top bar.
  3. Confirm. You choose whether to send a push notification to your active members at the same time — or leave it off to go live quietly.

Once published, your event link works and people can buy. Need to pull it back? Flip the toggle to Unpublish — the link stops working until you publish again, and members aren't notified.

That's the whole loop: create, add tickets, publish. From here, set up discounts, your door scanners, and watch it all on your dashboard.
