Sell a secret ticket
Updated 2026-06-15
Sometimes you don't want a ticket out in the open — a VIP tier, a pre-sale, a friends-and-family rate. A secret ticket stays off your event page until someone unlocks it with a code.
Make a ticket secret
When you create or edit a ticket, set its Access to Secret. It won't show on the event page, and it can't be stumbled onto — it's reachable only through a code or a direct link.
Unlock it with a code
A secret ticket needs a code to reveal it. Go to Tickets → Codes → Create code, choose the Secret tickets type, and pick the ticket it unlocks. (It's the same flow as creating a discount — you just pick "Secret tickets" instead of "Discount".)
Share that code with the people who should get in. When they enter it at checkout, the secret ticket appears and they can buy it.
Secret vs Members-only
- Secret — hidden from everyone until a code reveals it. Best for VIP, pre-sales, invite-only.
- Members — visible to your whole community. Best for rewarding membership.
Use Secret when you want tight control over who even sees the ticket; use Members when the whole community should have access.
Tip: hide everything else
A code can also hide other products while it's active — so someone with a VIP code sees only the VIP ticket and nothing else. Turn it on in the code's Additional settings.
